ARIES
For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 7th House of love, balance,
harmony, close relationships, marriage, partnership, inter-connectedness
with others, style of interaction, lovers and adversaries.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to learn how to conduct
your relationships with those close to you from a deeper, more empowered
place. Although this is not likely to happen in a straightforward way, you
have a lot of resources to help you do this. Your interactions with others
may be somewhat stressed or intense during this cycle, but this may also
come with a lot of support and inspiration.
This may involve financial dealings with others,
especially concerning projects or efforts to mobilise your money-making
potential. Cash flow, income, investments or purchase power may seem to have
stalled for a time, or possibly forced you to take a detour, while Mars is
retrograde.
It will help to take a step back and look at the
long-term picture, and put your short-term frustration into perspective. You
may feel like you have to take a leap of faith that feels more like a leap
off a cliff edge. But re-centre yourself in what you knowespecially about
who you are, your personal purpose, and creative projects.
You'll find that those close to you can help you get
grounded with this. There is a risk of collapsing yourself into an enmeshed
interaction with others, as well as falling into a controlling or
manipulative dynamic. Try to keep it light but grounded.

ARIES
For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 1st House of self, outer
personality, appearance, vitality and self-assertion.)
This Lunar Eclipse
brings the issues that began at the previous Solar Eclipse (April 8, 2005)
to full emergence. What started then was a need to reassess what you want
from relationships, especially to incorporate a mentoring, advisory or
spiritual component. This is very much in focus now, giving you an
opportunity to find a new balance between these components.
You are called on to create a better balance between your own needs and
those of the people close to you (e.g., spouse, partner, very close friend,
mentor, spiritual advisor, therapist, etc.). You may feel like progress in
these areas are a bit stalled at the moment, but it is important that you
use this as an opportunity to revaluate and acknowledge what is your own, in
terms of resources, finances, possessions, and inner strengths and
weaknesses.
Your need to be pragmatic about your own priorities may require you to
retrace your steps or reconsider your direction. This could create some
conflict with your Significant Others or with your idealisation of your
relationship(s) with them, requiring some adjustment on both sides. However,
negotiation about this is likely to be productive and helpful, especially if
you draw on the spiritual or ethical common ground that you both share and
don't let your ego get out of hand.
Concrete goals (your own or shared with Significant Others) may seem a
bit out of reach right now or seem to fall short of what you'd hoped. But it
will help to keep the big picture in mind and to empower yourself by staying
true to your spiritual values.

TAURUS
For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 6th House of work and service
(paid or volunteer), health and healing, analysis and organisation, and your
contribution to the world.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to establish a more
meaningful relationship with those close to you.
To do this you will need to find ways to empower
yourselfnot with sharp objects ;-) but with negotiation, persuasion, wisdom
and inner strength. And to do that, you'll have to overcome and redirect the
frustration you might feel, because your ability to wield force is somewhat
blunted or slowed down while Mars is retrograde.
There is a potential for support, ideas and inspiration
through your work or any kind of service done for others. This can enhance
(or require) your sense of fairness, justice and compassionate
understanding, as well as finding a way to communicate this to others.
Health issues may also require attention now, and can
benefit by spending some time at home de-stressing after a hard day. Be good
to yourself, but try to avoid pigging out in front of the TV or you may
regret it later.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 12th house of spirituality,
compassion, isolation, inner focus, meditation, escapism, addiction, and
universal love and beauty.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
bring a better balance between taking direct and disciplined action versus
going with the intuitive flow. This is very much in focus now, giving you an
opportunity to find a new balance between these components.
You've made intermittent progress in your goals in the past several
months, especially in health, work, service, and bringing a higher purpose
to these areas. It might feel a bit like you're stagnating lately, requiring
a lot of adjustment to keep yourself focused on empowering yourself by
applying spiritual values in your work and health.
However, you have increased ability right now to apply a grounded and
disciplined strategy in intense or "political" dealings with others. This
ability can give you a cunning edge, as well as the choice about how to use
itfor your own ends or for the greater good of all concerned.
Keep the big picture in mind, as well as your highest ethics and values,
and this can guide you through.

For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your solar 5th House of identity,
individuality, selfhood, children, fun, love affairs, creative
self-expression and "joi de vivre.")
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to expand and explore
your creative force, whether that involves artistry, a creative project,
children, the pursuit of fun, or your personal sense of self and purpose.
And you have quite an arsenal of resources to help you do this!
You may feel confident about this, but still wonder if
your talent and ability are enough to reach the ideals you are aiming for.
You might feel some self-doubt along with the confidence, but this is part
of the process of turning around to see your situation from a new
perspective, which can rejuvenate the creative process. You could feel some
struggle around what (or who) you are giving your talents and dedication to.
The question is: what ideal do you give yourself to? Do
you strive toward a higher purpose or ideal, which is probably slow to bloom
and lacks some of the sizzle you enjoy? Or do you aim for a more passionate
pleasure, which is more immediate but may also make it easier to sell your
ideals short?
Stretching your awareness and curiosity to explore these
areas will unfold over the next several months, especially while Mars is
retrograde.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 11th House of friends, peers,
colleagues and co-workers, groups, organisations, community at large and
vision of the future.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
reform your approach to creative self-expression, while wrestling with how
to integrate unusual ideas, attitudes and principles. This is very much in
focus now, giving you an opportunity to find a new balance between these
components.
By now you probably have a better idea of where you want to go, although
you may feel a bit stagnated and not understand why, or you may be concerned
that the reason why is something beyond your control. But being temporarily
delayed isn't the same as permanently blocked. Right now there is no
shortage of inspiring ideas, motivating vision and people who can help you
formulate your plans. The challenge is to trust the process even when the
process seems stalled.
That doesn't mean you can't be proactive, but it does mean you need to
apply more patience and adjustment than you might be comfortable with.
Ambiguity is not going to go away completely, and your impulse is probably
to want to force the issue or scheme your way out of the impasse.
However, you will end up farther ahead if you aim for a maintaining
balancematching one step forward for every step back that you encounter,
rather than trying to smash through obstacles and sprinting ahead.

CANCER
For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your solar 4th House of family, Father,
childhood, home base, need for nurturing, security and belonging, and the
past.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to find new ways of
communicating with and relating to your family, people in your support
network, children and friends.
Your pursuit of hopes and dreams, as well as your
connection to your social network of friends and community, may be somewhat
bogged down lately. These areas will probably require some rethinking and
redirecting while Mars is retrograde. Support from family and Significant
Others can help keep you grounded and stabilised while you work out what the
source of the problem is. However, they may also challenge you to see things
from a different perspective, which might be difficult to face but could
still be beneficial.
You could be offered financial support, although you
might have to get past a conflict with your ideals or ethics. On the other
hand, you may be called on to provide support to others (e.g., children or
lover), which might seem to come at a bad time because you might feel you're
not able to capture and nurture your own future, never mind help someone
else with theirs. However, doing so will help to anchor you in a deeper
sense of values and self-worth.
It's important to let your ideals and ethics steer your
ambition, and not the other way around. It's also important to not get so
caught up in wanting your life to reflect your sense of what's right or
what's ideal that you create an atmosphere where those close to you can't
live up to your expectations. Strive for ideals that accept human nature
without shaming or blaming.

CANCER
For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(In your solar 10th House of career, goals, ambitions,
authority, public recognition, Mother, social reputation and roles in
society.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous
Solar Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a
need to refine your approach to boundaries (yours and others') using a
balanced approach of self-assertion and diplomacy. This is very much in
focus now, giving you an opportunity to find a new balance between these
components.
The need for re-parenting yourself has since evolved into a challenge to
embrace your own authority. This is especially the case in areas of finance,
resources and gathering the "substance" of what you need to rebuild the
foundation of your life. This may require you to first throw away old habits
and expectations about who and what supports your life, even as you are
starting to shape new confidence, vision and purpose out of what remains.
This could revive old struggles, conflicts or frustrations with friends,
loved ones or parents. However, this is also a valuable opportunity to
respond differently using the strength and perspective you've developed over
the past couple of years, and in the last six months in particular.
Stay in balance by keeping the big picture in focus and tapping into your
endurance, confidence, and your instinct for healing and just "doing the
work" that needs to be done. The old idea of "whistling while you work"
(literally or metaphorically) can probably have a more positive effect now
than you realise.

For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your solar 3rd House of intellect,
communication, ideas, perceptions, learning, neighbours, commerce,
short-distance travel, and information exchange.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. Your creative self-expression is on centre
stage during both the short and long term cycles.
Recently you've been handed a sort of lead weight that
may seem to keep you from soaring free, but this is actually giving you some
structure and grounding that can anchor your awareness and frame your
perceptions. This is both a source of frustration and a resource to help
guide you out of that frustration, so don't dismiss it too quickly.
You may also feel like your ambitions and goals have
become bogged down or are taking a detour on the path to success. Your goals
and career may require some rethinking and redirecting while Mars is
Retrograde. You might react to this by wanting to stay close to home
(literally or figuratively, as in "playing it safe"). Or, you might find
that family or other support people encourage you to strengthen yourself
from within, by building a stronger foundation of passion for what you love.
The key is to focus your conscious intent and awareness
so that your perspective and understanding become clearer and broader, and
so that you can harvest new ideas and that can be put into practice later.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 9th House of spirituality,
beliefs, truth-seeking, justice, philosophy, knowledge, teaching/learning,
publishing, long-distance travel, foreign lands and languages, and
multiculturalism.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
stretch your understanding of the relationship between common knowledge and
acquired wisdom, and to bring this to a higher purpose in the way you relate
to others. This is very much in focus now, giving you an opportunity to find
a new balance between these components.
It is your job now to take that higher purpose and understanding and
translate it into your everyday world, where it can give new meaning to
seemingly trivial experiences. In fact, focusing on your need for
encouragement and care (both from support people and from the Universe)
could take you deeper psychologically than you realise. You might glimpse a
deeper issue of how your self-esteem is connected to your idealisation of
others, which is a process of growth that will unfold over the next year or
two.
However, for now there is likely no shortage of opinions, insights and
inspiration in you, although there may be some frustrating limits in your
ability to put it all into concrete form the way you'd like. The trick is to
approach it without overstating your credibility, which could make you
appear overqualified and make others suspicious of your message.
Stay focused on your goal, even if it seems to be out of reach or stalled
lately. Your direction or means of getting there may need some adjustment,
based on new insight bringing inspiration to your creativity. By accepting
necessary limits and keeping yourself focused on the task at hand, you can
accomplish more than you might think...and your confidence will not desert
you as you might think.

VIRGO
For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 2nd House of finances, income,
expenses, possessions, resources, self-worth, and material security and
values.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to grapple with the whole
concept of abundance and what that means to you, especially as it relates to
(or conflicts with) your sense of ethics, ideals and what you have to do to
get it.
Lately, you may feel that your actions, which are
inspired by or aimed at your highest vision, feel like they're becoming vain
or futile. The truth is you probably need to rethink your strategy and
reconnect with the passion that drives those ideals, even though it may feel
like nothing fits together conveniently or clearly right now. This is likely
to continue while Mars is retrograde.
Rather than simply leave you frustrated, it could
potentially inspire some writing or new ideas that rejuvenate your creative
spark. This struggle about your ideals will affect and is affected by your
attitude toward material wealth, income, resources and the spiritual
abundance that forms the inner substance of who you are.
People who are close to you may provide insight,
feedback or interaction that may feel irritating or frustrating, but this
could also force you to strengthen your ability to connect the material to
the spiritual in a pragmatic way. This is valuable because some of your
struggle may be rooted in questioning whether it's possible to be both
(materially secure and spiritually connected). While this is certainly
possible, you need to find the way to build a bridge between them that works
best for you.

VIRGO
For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 8th House of power, empowerment,
control, intensity, deep psychology, death, rebirth, transformation and
sexuality.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
take a more philosophical or spiritual approach to empowerment and learn to
be assertive without being pushy. This is very much in focus now, giving you
an opportunity to find a new balance between these components.
Now it's time to take a philosophical and spiritual approach to abundance
and wealth of all kinds, and explore how these are shared and divided up
between yourself and other people. You have the need and the opportunity to
expand and take stock of your strengths, resources and values that form the
armour by which you support and empower yourself.
However, you might find that you have to deal with limitations,
obligations or consequences that seem to come out of nowhere or perhaps
result from speaking your mind a little too bluntly. This can be eased by
reaching out for spiritual support in concrete ways. For example: schedule
some "alone time" at home, or spend some private time with a family member
to reinforce your mutual connection.
You might want to get away for a while to do this, although you may find
your finances or home responsibilities interfere. Focus on doing what you
can, rather than succumbing to frustration over what you can't.

LIBRA
For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 1st House of self, outer
personality, appearance, vitality and self-assertion.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. This is your New Moon and Eclipse, Libra,
and it will therefore affect your sense of self and purpose.
You've been working with the quest of expanding your
spiritual connection to the Universe for about a year now, and that process
is nearing completion and about to shift later this month. In this final
stage, you are being challenged to find a harmonious balance between yin and
yang, between height and depth, and between the personal and the
transpersonal.
You may feel more overwhelmed than inspired for a while,
as you stretch yourself to gain a broader understanding and awareness of
these issues. What's frustrating is that your sense of personal control and
power may seem somewhat upside-down or sluggish for a while, while Mars is
retrograde.
You'll have to reach for a more Universal empowerment
based on wisdom, courage, tenacity and your true deep-down passion, in order
to find a productive balance between all the different components. Exploring
new ways to serve a higher calling will require that you make solid
connections to associates, groups and community, which in turn can create a
structure for a more authentic You to come out.

LIBRA
For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 7th House of Significant Others,
relationships, partnerships, inter-connectedness with others, style of
interaction, and balance.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
examine your close relationships and the ways that your interactions with
others reflect your own projected issues, as well as finding fair but
objective ways to respond to others. This is very much in focus now, giving
you an opportunity to find a new balance between these components.
The need for justice, ethics and fair assessment of others is important,
since you are now confronted by the consequences of your choices and
decisions. However, your ability to find solid ground on which to see the
big picture is strong right now.
You may be uncertain or overwhelmed in trying to decide how to assert
yourself, especially when the balance of power between yourself and others
is at stake. It will help you to maintain a balance between aspiring to
higher ethics while also acknowledging and accepting that it may be
necessary to be forceful and no-nonsense in your dealings with others.
Friends and associates may be able to provide helpful feedback, insight
and a reality check. And you might find that your position is stronger and
more empowered than you think. Just don't become overconfident and assume
you don't have to reach for the optimal course of action.

SCORPIO
For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 12th house of spirituality,
compassion, solitude, privacy, alone time, inner focus, meditation,
escapism, addiction, and universal love and beauty.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to find a better balance
between your interactions with others on the outside and your connection to
yourself and the Universe on the inside.
It may be necessary to spend some time alone or away
from the world, in order to clear enough space inside yourself to hear the
whispers of the Universe more clearly. That alone-time can also help to
strengthen your goals and ambitions. Although this may initially aggravate
the part of you that wants to be unconventional and creative, strengthening
the structure of those goals can ironically support that individualistic
part of you in unexpected ways.
However, it's also important to balance alone-time with
interaction in the outside world. This allows you to practice balancing
self-care and self-love with learning how to assert and defend your
interests without declaring nuclear war. This might not be easy to doyou
may find it difficult to avoid conflict with others, who come across as
uncompromising or antagonisticbut by exercising these "muscles" you will
find it gets easier in time. This is a challenge to work through while Mars
is retrograde.
Don't be surprised, however, if you find your
spiritual/alone connection can't be directly or fully translated into
something understood by the everyday world. Pay special attention to dreams,
which can tell you things that you can't be perceived or understood by your
waking consciousness.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 6th House of work and service,
paid or volunteer, health and healing, analysis and organisation, and your
contribution to the world.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
get busy with planning clear steps toward goals, and then to wrestle with a
tendency to rebel against the structure, rules and discipline required to
make it happen. This is very much in focus now, giving you an opportunity to
find a new balance between these components.
Those goals now require serious commitment, stability and work. Although
you may have struggled with or rebelled against this in the past six months,
you have resources and strength to help you work productively toward those
goals.
However, you also need a certain amount of faith, ethics and higher
purpose to guide you through the coming months, and you are likely involved
in trying to get a handle on this now. Your biggest obstacle may a
pessimistic or overly harsh outlook. It might be hard trying to find the
words and thoughts that adequately capture and support the steps you are
trying to take to make your larger goals come to life.
Much of what you're battling is trying to find a working balance between
the spiritual and the physical; between the elusive and the defined; between
principles and practice. Those close to you may not seem as supportive as
you'd like them to be, but this is likely just temporary. Trust the Universe
to provide the essentials will not only invite that spiritual support, it
will also ease tensions with others.

For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 11th House of friends, peers,
colleagues, associates, co-workers, groups, organisations, community at
large, and vision and hopes for the future.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You are challenged to explore new networking
connections with co-workers, friends, mentors, groups and community.
However, this isn't likely to happen in a
straightforward way. For one thing, progress in your projects, work, service
or health could become blocked, detoured or delayed while Mars is
retrograde, requiring you to rethink or reroute your direction.
You may need to work behind the scenes initially, to get
things back on track. But be carefulthere's a fine line between quietly
working in the background versus being deceptively manipulative for your own
ends. You may encounter some philosophical struggle around finances,
self-worth and your position about material abundancethe needs of the many
versus the needs of the one (who does/doesn't deserve it, how one
should/shouldn't acquire it, what should be done with it, etc.).
This may seem to be in conflict with the ideals and
philosophy held by your social network or community. Ironically, much of the
resulting frustration can be alleviated by cultivating a cooperative bridge
between your struggle to develop a spiritual identity and the ideals of the
community collective consciousness, even though that might seem to be part
of the problem in the first place.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your solar 5th House of identity, individuality,
selfhood, children, fun, love affairs, creative self-expression and joi de
vivre.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
develop your involvement with the collective community around you and the
individuals within it, as well as establishing your own interests within
that collective. This is very much in focus now, giving you an opportunity
to find a new balance between these components.
Through your involvement with groups, humanity, friends and future
dreams, you have begun to connect with something greater than yourself. This
is about to shift in scale (when Jupiter goes into Scorpio) into a
connection with the spiritual Universe that will unfold over the coming
year.
In this time of transition, your mission is to reaffirm your individual
identity as a child of the Universe, AND your membership within the greater
whole of Humanity, friends, associates and the realm of future
possibilities.
This is also a good time to shed some old misconceptions you have about
material wealth and securityperhaps you feel that having it diminishes your
freedom somehow, or maybe you feel that you never have enough to truly be
free. You are urged to discover the spiritual in the material and concrete
manifestations of higher principles, and any issues you have about material
abundance might be a good place to start.

For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(In your solar 10th House of career, goals, ambitions,
authority, public recognition, Mother, social reputation and roles in
society.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. This is a time of special focus on your
ambitions and goals, and how to get from here to there in a way that is
consistent with your integrity.
If you are thinking about or planning for a new project,
this may become a more stressful and long-term journey than you thought.
It's not impossible to succeed, but your route will take you to places you
may not have expected. For one thing, self-expression that fuels your
creative inspiration may be temporarily blocked or disrupted (while Mars is
retrograde), possibly through conflicts with friends or associates.
It will help to strengthen your understanding of the
situation from a broad perspective, and integrate this with how to wield
power effectively but ethically behind the scenes. This can help you create
a more stable position from which to deal with any conflicts of interest
between your personal self-expression and the "peer pressure" of the
Collective.
You are in a long term process (about two years) of
learning how to tap into greater empowerment by getting your ego out of the
way and focusing on priorities. Although this may sometimes seem to get
worse before it gets better, now is a time when you have a chance to move a
few more steps in the journey by learning to capitalise on your strengths in
the face of paradox and instability.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your solar 4th House of family, Father,
childhood, home base, need for nurturing, security and belonging, and the
past.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
strive for a new vision of possibilities, possibly inspired (or triggered)
by close relationships, especially with family members or support people.
This is very much in focus now, giving you an opportunity to find a new
balance between these components.
Your focus now is toward manifesting your visions by networking with
people who can help you get where you want to go. You might be feeling a bit
of self-doubt or hesitation, especially if you're unsure of what you have to
offer or how others will react to your ideas.
However, you have a powerful presence with an undercurrent of charm and
gentle persuasion. Just don't get too heavy handed or it might backfire so
that you appear as if you're trying to hide something.
It might seem like no matter which way you act or respond, you will
either trigger undercurrents of power struggles or having to demonstrate
more confidence and faith than you truly feel. However, by tapping into your
own undercurrent of power, combined with your underlying faith in your
goals, you should be able to at least stabilise an otherwise erratic pattern
of action. And keep that gentle yet firm persuasion in mind.

This may involve financial dealings with others, especially concerning
projects or efforts to mobilise your money-making potential. Cash flow,
income, investments or purchase power may seem to have stalled for a time,
or possibly forced you to take a detour, while Mars is retrograde.
It will help to take a step back and look at the long-term picture, and put
your short-term frustration into perspective. You may feel like you have to
take a leap of faith that feels more like a leap off a cliff edge. But
re-centre yourself in what you knowespecially about who you are, your
personal purpose, and creative projects.
You'll find that those close to you can help you get grounded with this.
There is a risk of collapsing yourself into an enmeshed interaction with
others, as well as falling into a controlling or manipulative dynamic. Try
to keep it light but grounded.

For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your solar 3rd House of intellect,
communication, ideas, perceptions, learning, neighbours, commerce,
short-distance travel, and information exchange.) This Lunar Eclipse
brings the issues that began at the previous Solar Eclipse (April 8, 2005)
to full emergence. What started then was a need to develop new awareness and
information that generated a new connection to spirituality, meaning and
wisdom, while doing the ground work to build that connection. This is very
much in focus now, giving you an opportunity to find a new balance between
these components.
That need for effective preplanning of activities has now shifted to the
need to develop better relationships with others, be that a spouse, close
friend or boss, or networking with friends, associates and authority figures
in general.
The information and new perspectives you have gathered in the last few
months can now be assimilated into a unified philosophical or spiritual
vision. This can bring meaning and stability to past issues and problems
that keep coming back to haunt, especially if you apply this meaning with
the transformational force of group support (e.g., self-help groups,
supportive friends or organisations, etc.).
Although it is possible to achieve this (assimilation of new meaning)
within the world around you, it might seem like it doesn't quite live up to
the grand vision of ideals you had aimed for. However, don't be tempted to
think this is the same as failure or inadequacy. What you are seeing is a
reflection of the inherent difficulties in manifesting our ideals and
principles, and our perception of these, into an accessible form. Hang in
there with the process and allow the enlightenment to unfold.

For SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in Libra
October 3 to November 1, 2005
(Takes place in your 8th House of power, empowerment,
control, intensity, deep psychology, death, rebirth, transformation and
sexuality.)
The New Moon begins a four-week cycle of growth. But
this is also a Solar Eclipse, so this New Moon cycle will also begin a new
six-month process of evolution. You've been on a year-long mission of
shining light into your dark shadows. You are about to shift into the
flipside of this, to learn about the wisdom that can be (re)born out of that
darkness.
You need to take stock of what you've learned in the
past year. But just when you need it most, your brain and mouth may seem to
take on a life of their own as you try to make sense of it all and put it
into words. Your ability to put your learning into action may be blocked or
delayed. This could leave you vulnerable to the lure of pressured
manipulation, rationalised by claiming that the end justifies the means.
It's important to strengthen your empowermentwhich involves embracing some
of the power dynamic that may feel intimidating right now. The trick is to
do it with integrity.
There is a point at which too much reliance on faith and
idealism can turn into denial instead of a healing salve. You may need to
confront this possibility in yourself, in order to do closure with the
process of the past year. Friends may give feedback about this (or you to
them), which might be hard to hear but shouldn't just be dismissed out of
hand. One of your current strengths comes from combining passionate
dedication with disciplined service. This can help keep you grounded amid
the confusion happening in your life right now, which ultimately seeks to
liberate you from mere turmoil into a true connection with divine chaos.

PISCES
For FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in ARIES
October 17, 2005
(Takes place in your 2nd House of finances, income,
expenses, possessions, resources, self-worth, and material security and
values.)
This Lunar Eclipse brings the issues that began at the previous Solar
Eclipse (April 8, 2005) to full emergence. What started then was a need to
reassess your value system, revitalise your self-worth and explore a more
spiritual, ethical balance between your and others' interests. This is very
much in focus now, giving you an opportunity to find a new balance between
these components.
It is now possible to shine an illuminating light into the dark corners
of denial, cynicism and control issues. In part this is done by asserting
your own interests and needs, using new information, skills and
understanding you've acquired in the last several months.
This may require conformity with group expectations, as well as accepting
less support (or conditional support) from groups, organisations and friends
than you feel you deserve. However, it will help if you adopt an attitude
that, by accepting these limitations and constrictions, you are providing
the necessary service and effort that will ultimately support your own goals
and aims.
You might feel the impulse to lose your temper or speak sharply because
of stress and tension. It will help if you stay focused on your higher
vision of what you want to achieve and remember that even if circumstances
prevent you from being as powerful as you would like, you are still far from
helpless. Large dreams require time and patience, so allow yours to unfold
as it will.
