ARIES
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 6th House of work and
servicepaid or volunteerhealth and healing, analysis and organisation, and
your contribution to the world.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include work, health, service and
betterment of yourself and those around you.
In the coming transition, your focus moves from
generating a working formula for success to a focus on the human factor. You
are finding balance between what you do and who you are. Between what you
give to others and what you need to give yourself to take care of yourself.
Between the strategies you use to create that balance and the rationale you
apply to make that balance work. And between the compromises that close
relationships require to make them work and the practical realities that
can't be ignored or rationalized away.
As you struggle to balance these issues over the next 4
weeks, you will be laying the ground work for a deeper healing over the
coming 6 months. This might sometimes feel like your wings are being
clipped. It will be important to decide which parts of your true self are
essential and which parts can safely be compromised. But the experience of
not being able to entirely be your true self can also bring valuable lessons
about balancing your own needs with those of others. You don't have to put
yourself in chains, but don't just dismiss it until you understand what you
can learn.

FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 1st House of self, outer
personality, appearance, vitality and self-assertion.)
This is your Full Moon, Aries, because it takes place in
your sign! All eyes are on you now or so it might seem. Is this good or
bad? The answer is: Yes. ;-) On one hand, you are in your element during
this Full Moon. Your personal needs are in focus. The window of opportunity
is open and you can smell the fresh breeze of potential. Other people are
there to provide inspiration, creative ideas and support.
On the other hand, you probably can't simply lunge
forward in your chosen direction either. Perhaps in order to get the allies
you need, you must compromise your actions somewhat. Or maybe you have to be
more laid back and genteel than you would like to be, or else risk
alienating others close to you.
The trick is to find a balance, not only between your
desires and others' preferences, but also between the reality of the
situation versus the ideal vision that you are aiming for. Friends,
associates, groups and community can be helpful now by helping you stay
focused on that vision. And if you feel held back or limited in your own
self-expression, you may find that this is a necessity that will actually
provide the ballast you need to keep you on track.

TAURUS
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 5th House of identity,
individuality, selfhood, children, fun, love affairs, creative
self-expression and "joi de vivre.")
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include creativity, self-expression,
identity issues, children and fun.
In the coming transition, your focus begins by searching
for the formula that will allow you to be creative (in the broadest sense of
the word) in reliable, predictable ways. This process moves toward being
able to apply this formula so that you can generate that creativity as you
need to, not just when you feel inspired or obligated.
It may sometimes feel like this is all work and no
pleasure. Or, you might need to be a bit more finely-tuned and adaptable
than you're used to, possibly out of a sense of obligation or pressure from
an authority figure (or being one to someone else). This will start to shift
soon, and you will be in a stronger position to create a more balanced
situation. For example, you be laying the plans for a long-term project,
which will start to come together soon. Or, you might be trying to help your
children become better at something, which might find a better balance if
you start to set the example in your own actions. Remember that whatever way
this manifests, this is a processyou don't have to do it all at once.

TAURUS
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 12th house of spirituality,
compassion, isolation, inner focus, meditation, escapism, addiction, and
universal love and beauty.)
Keeping busy, reaping the rewards and finding success in
your work (or whatever you do with your time and energy) is all fine and
nice. But what is the purpose behind it? What are you doing it for? What
inner fulfilment do you get from what you do? You may feel connected to
something greater than yourself call it inspiration or God or aligning
yourself with the natural flow of the Universe. Whatever you call it, you
are reaching for a personal connection with that cosmic force. And it is
trying to manifest in what you do, what you contribute to the world around
you.
In this endeavour, your relationships and interaction
with others is very important. It is not enough to simply feel you are
plugged into the Universal flow as an individual surrendering to the Cosmic
Order. You must also bring this back and anchor it in your connection with
others and specifically in the way you give of yourself to others. This
might be in the form of service or work or just trying to help someone with
a problem. These interactions might feel like a distraction in some way, but
they are in fact the ballast that allows you to reach out to something
greater than yourself without losing touch with the rest of the world.
The idea is to find the right balance that will allow
you to be alone with yourself (in a good way) AND be active with others.
This is part of a healing process you are in, which may affect you
physically, spiritually, socially and in your goals.

SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 4th House of family, Father
(or Mother), childhood, home base, need for nurturing, security and
belonging, and the past.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include home, family, support people
in your life, and unresolved issues from the past.
In the coming transition, your focus starts with dealing
with your need for assistance, care and approval from those who support you
(family, caregivers and other allies). This may involve dynamics happening
either now or in the past. Your focus will start to shift toward bringing
your own identity into balance as a result of the work you do in those other
relationships. Your creative imagination may be inspired by your interaction
with others. You might find it awkward to let your assertive self-expression
loose, but there is something to be learned from keeping forcefulness in a
cool harmonizing balance for a while.
It may help to let go of some of your old baggage from
the past, especially regarding criticism, perfectionism or "nitpicking." A
little optimism and faith will go a long way now, even if that seems to
contradict the bigger picture or what seems to be wise in dealing with your
situation.

FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 11th House of friends,
peers, colleagues and co-workers, groups, organisations, community at large
and vision of the future.)
This month's Full Moon suggests you are starting to move
forward in your involvement with friends, associates, groups and/or your
community. Alternatively, you might be looking at how you want your
involvement with these people to evolve in the future. Co-workers,
colleagues and allies in your career plans may be a significant part of your
focus.
Although you might be heading toward increased
involvement with groups and social contacts, it is important for you to
balance this with a strong focus on your own creativity and individuality.
It might be tempting to think that all you have to do is line up the right
people and your momentum will take care of the rest. But your own input is
essential to your success. That means you might have to collaborate with
others in your creative efforts. And you might also have to compromise your
creative vision in order to gain the cooperation necessary to move forward.
This may not be easy, as you're likely in a mood to
maintain control over what you are doing. After all, this is your passion
we're talking about! It will help to consider the bigger picture those
compromises might be worth it if they bring you closer to the greater vision
of what you want to achieve, and looking at it this way could make
frustration a little easier to endure. This is about finding balance between
yourself and others, not about losing your passion. Don't lose your cool. Be
open to surprises and unexpected benefits that open up as a result of this
struggle.

CANCER
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 3rd House of intellect,
communication, ideas, perceptions, learning, neighbours, commerce,
short-distance travel, and information exchange.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include self-awareness,
communication, learning and ideas.
In the coming transition, your focus starts with an
exchange of mental energy (ideas, information, "meeting of the minds,"
planning, etc.). This progresses into a focus on how to focus that mental
energy into action that will build a foundation for change and support. For
example, you might explore intuitive ways to bring a healing framework to
conflicted relationships with your family.
You might become more aware of critical attitudes in
your life, which allows you to release old anger or helplessness. This in
turn can free you from indecisive paralysis that happens when you try to be
so fair or politically correct that none of your options seems to be worth
the effort. It will help to trust your intuition and listen to your inner
feelings, but also stay grounded and practical in terms of how you interpret
these.

CANCER
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 10th House of career, goals,
ambitions, authority, public recognition, Mother (or Father), social
reputation and roles in society.)
Thinking about making changes to your career? Looking to
become more independent about making your own decisions? Hoping to break
free of the same-old-same-old? This could be your opportunity, Cancer. You
are in a position to strike out on your own path, but remember that autonomy
doesn't mean there are no consequences.
As much as you might want to leave the past behind, you
still need to establish continuity with the past. And that means you still
have to deal with the past and "where you are coming from." This might
include childhood conditioning, or relationships with your family, or
mobilization of your support network. There could be a strong foundation of
support, resources or convenience in these areas that is hard to break away
from.
It will help to avoid extremes of reaction and
all-or-nothing thinking. It might seem as if your greater vision or personal
integrity could be compromised so much that they become unstable. Or, the
possibilities you must choose from explode beyond what seems reachable.
However, if you look closer you may find that you have empowerment and
resources to draw on, through friends and other resource people or through
your own connection to your greater vision. Don't sell yourself short, but
be careful not to overstretch your credibility either.

LEO
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 2nd House of finances,
income, expenses, possessions, resources, self-worth, and material security
and values.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include finances, possessions and
income, on one level, but also self-worth, blessings and resourcefulness on
another level.
In the coming transition, your focus starts by looking
for ways to improve and organise "what you have." That includes money,
belongings, skills, knowledge and other resources. It also includes the
values and strategies that guide your acquisition and use of these
resources, as well as your ability to attract whatever else you need to get
where you want to go. This focus moves toward being able to use all these
assets in your interaction with others, especially in the exchange of
information.
What you "have" could eventually be used for barter that
can benefit all concerned. For example, you might share your know-how with
someone, thus generating good will with them and possibly being able to use
this to further your own agenda. But be careful how you do this. There's an
edge to this that could be about hidden agendas for the purpose of
manipulation, which could backfire in the long run. It is important to find
an ethical AND workable balance between "using" your good will with others
to manipulate them, versus genuinely aiming to generate a win-win situation
that acknowledges and honours everyone's interests.

LEO
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 9th House of spirituality,
beliefs, truth-seeking, justice, philosophy, knowledge, teaching/learning,
publishing, long-distance travel, foreign lands and languages, and
multiculturalism.)
You may be full of ideas right now, and reaching out to
catch the greater implications and meaning behind all those ideas. Or, you
might be involved in some intense negotiations with someone, and trying to
find a way to fast-track your way to a solution...or possibly wanting to
validate your own agenda in an ethical way. Or, perhaps you are stretching
your awareness to connect to a more spontaneous experience of spirituality
and meaning in life.
Whatever way this is manifesting for you, it is likely
to involve interaction with other people and also with the Universe (for
want of a better word). Perhaps you feel the urge to become more
self-sufficient and autonomous, but you still feel the need for feedback
from others to reinforce a positive self-awareness. Or you could be feeling
a tug of war between wanting others to help you make a difficult decision,
but also knowing what you want and trying to forge ahead with that.
The trick is to find a balance between the extremes.
This could mean having to "tame" your independent edge a bit, while also
being willing to move away from needing others to give you permission to be
yourself. Your sense of adventure will help with this, as will your ability
to charm your way through any damage control if your adventuresome side gets
too abrupt.

VIRGO
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 1st House of self, outer
personality, appearance, vitality and self-assertion.)
This is your New Moon and Solar Eclipse, Virgo! Although
the previous New Moon was also in Virgo, this one initiates a deeper and
longer-term process of healing, achievement and problem-solving. This
long-term transition will unfold over the coming year, starting with the
next 4 weeks. The areas most likely affected by this transition include your
work, health issues and how you bring yourself to these areas. Also finances
and relationships are likely to have a role in this journey.
In the coming transition, your focus starts with the
work you've been doing on yourselfself-betterment, improving your health,
finding ways to "tweak" your methods to create more accurate and
finely-tuned results. You've been doing this for the last few weeks already,
and this begins a longer-term process of grounding this in your
relationships, your style of interaction and how you use your resources to
achieve what you're aiming for.
For instance, you might find you are able to take a new
ability to create a healing balance in your life (such as work versus
pleasure) and use it as a resource for an energy exchange with others. An
example of this is might be sharing your knowledge about nutrition or
performing a service for others, and in return you might get help from them
that moves you forward in your ambitions. Or, you might learning something
new, giving you new energy, enthusiasm and "fuel" for moving forward.

VIRGO
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 8th House of power,
empowerment, control, intensity, deep psychology, transformation,
death/rebirth, the occult, secrets and resources from other people.)
You may have some powerful yet controversial ideas right
now that you want to put into action. Or, you might need to speak your mind
about something that is not likely to be well received. Or, you could feel
the need for healingphysical or psychologicaland you're trying to figure
out the best strategy to do that. The question is: how can you assert
yourself and your needs in a way that is not too abrupt but not too
understated either?
You have plenty of resources to draw on: soothing social
skills, ability to be indirect (yet effective), and the charm and grace to
bring these together. However, the problem may arise when you feel your
autonomy or independence are being compromised, resulting in a power
struggle with those involved. Sometimes charm alone won't win over an
opponent who is determined to win at all costs. Or perhaps you are the
determined one and find yourself confronting others who (it seems) want to
manipulate you into doing things their way.
You may find it helpful to appeal to others' sense of
greater possibilities. In other words, be inventive by taking your different
"sides" and framing them in a context that encompasses all of these sides.
This creates a common ground within a much bigger picture. It might create
almost as many problems as it solves, but it could also move you out of a
stalemate which is very valuable. Use your own intuition and insight to
decide how (or if) this is a workable solution.

LIBRA
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 12th house of spirituality,
compassion, solitude, privacy, alone time, inner focus, meditation,
escapism, addiction, and universal love and beauty.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include working behind the scenes,
private time, spiritual connection, and performing selfless service for the
Greater Good or for a higher purpose. You could have vivid dreams or your
imagination might create images or scenarios, which may provide important
clues about this transition in your life.
In the coming transition, your focus starts out behind
the scenesin some way turning away from the busy world to take advantage of
the quiet, solitude, privacy or peace that can be found there. Or, you might
simply be connected to a quiet place inside that gives you intuitive insight
into the events of the world around you.
This starts to shift toward the need to take action in a
more direct wayexcept that you probably can't be too direct or you'll
defeat the purpose of what you're trying to achieve. Communication and frame
of mind will be important (and are now). Fairness, discretion and subtlety
will take you a lot farther than direct force or argument, even though it
might be tempting to indulge in the latter. Keep your vision, ideals and
faith in focus to guide you.

LIBRA
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 7th House of "Significant
Others," relationships, partnerships, inter-connectedness with others, style
of interaction, and balance.)
In many ways, Libra, you may hold all the cards in your
interactions right now. This could seem to give you the "green light" to
make your move in making changes or progress in your close relationships or
in your approach to how you relate to others. Alternatively, you may feel
that someone else holds the power in your interactions, and you are left
trying to tiptoe through a tricky maze of actions and reactions.
Either way, your situation with others will likely
require a lot of strategy, negotiation and/or careful manoeuvring. This may
involve a "two steps forward, one step back" kind of progress. However, your
position is a strong one now, and your usual charm and diplomacy are
powerful resources. Your biggest difficulty may be trying to decide how best
to approach your goal. This is especially true if you try to aim for such a
high level of perfection that no plan of action seems like it will work (and
probably wouldn't).
The higher purpose at stake here is establishing your
own agenda, needs, wants and priorities, while not feeling like you have to
blow away the competition just so you can stand your ground. If you're
afraid you're losing the battle, it might be tempting to want to sacrifice
your autonomy to the good of the group (friends, family, co-workers,
society, etc.). However, it's possible to take the "high road" without
leaving your personal agenda behind. Aim for a win-win situation.

SCORPIO
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 11th House of friends,
peers, colleagues, associates, co-workers, groups, organisations, community
at large, and vision and hopes for the future.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include social alliances,
networking, associates, groups and memberships.
In the coming transition, your focus starts by looking
to friends, allies, associates and society for assistance and support. You
might be looking to others to help you heal wounds from the past, or you
could be reaching out to help others in that way. This will begin to shift
toward finding a higher (or deeper) purpose that connects you to ideals,
imagination, illusions and/or unconscious wishing. You might feel yourself
becoming a bit detached from the world around you, but this gives you the
opportunity to find a deeper connection to the Universe or the Family of
Humanity or perhaps a higher creative part of yourself that you didn't
realise was there.
You are still striving to balance your higher principles
with concrete achievement, which is a long-term process lasting from late
August until the end of October. Right now it is focused on the battle
between your intuitive faith and your inspired ideals, which may not be the
same or even agree with each other. If you are having trouble finding a
sense of faith right now, dig deeper into the past to find the source of the
discord. Dreams might offer a clue about this.

SCORPIO
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 6th House of work and
service, paid or volunteer, health and healing, analysis and organisation,
and your contribution to the world.)
Your thrust right now is to move forward in pragmatic,
decisive ways perhaps in your work, your health, or just focusing what you
do with your time and energy that contributes to the world around you. The
challenge is that although you are trying to forge ahead, there is still
much to be done behind the scenes. This might seem to hold you back or keep
you stuck in a stalemate. However, your situation is far from stuck!
The trick is to find a way to assert your will,
priorities, desires and ambition, while still maintaining a healthy balance
with a spiritual perspective. In other words, don't get locked into a linear
approach in whatever you're doing ("I just have to do this and this will
happen"). You probably have to work cooperatively with the Universe to get
where you're going, and that means not being able to move ahead as directly
or quickly as you'd like to.
Listening to that deep penetrating intuition of yours
will help you hear the subtle whisperings of the Universe, which is probably
working more cooperatively with your aims than you realise. Surprisingly
creative ideas and inspiration may emerge this way. And even though these
ideas may seem to pull you off track, they can also help you see the bigger
picture more clearly. Detaching yourself somewhat from your intended outcome
can allow the natural flow of the Universe to fill in the gaps and help you
get where you're going. This is a cooperative effort.

SAGITTARIUS
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 10th House of career, goals,
ambitions, authority, public recognition, Mother (or Father), social
reputation and roles in society.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include career, ambition, long-term
projects, and the constant refinement required to achieve your goals.
In the coming transition, your focus starts with the
opportunity to examine not just what you want to accomplish in the future,
but what you have already achieved up to this point. It is just as important
to take stock of your past successes because you will build on these as you
reach toward new goals. This begins to shift toward aligning yourself with
others who can help you move toward those goals, both by pushing you and
persuading you.
You might find that things that are said and discussed
with your colleagues, associates and friends seem to reflect an inspired
vision of what you want to aspire to. But your intuitive wisdom may reflect
a somewhat "darker" or deeper picture that doesn't have quite as much
"sweetness and light" as you wish it did (or as others would have you
believe). Don't mistake healthy questioning for loss of faith. If you feel a
loss of faith, it's possible that you have expanded your understanding and
awareness in certain areas and now other areas of your psyche need to catch
up and re-integrate.

SAGITTARIUS
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 5th House of identity,
individuality, selfhood, children, fun, love affairs, creative
self-expression and joi de vivre.)
Your creative self-expression is ready to burst! You've
been going through a challenging year of uphill battles and questioning your
vision. Right now you may feel like you just want to move forward it
almost doesn't matter where or why, as long as you can be yourself and set
yourself free! Your creative energy is high right now, and as much as you
might not want to admit it, being held back for a while has made your life
force and energy stronger.
I wish I could say that all the lights are green and you
can sprint ahead, but there are implications to deal with that will require
balance, discretion and diplomacy. The good news is that you will likely
have the support you need from others (friends, associates, groups,
community), although in order to draw on that support you may have to
compromise on your freedom a bit.
This might feel like yet another setback or roadblock,
but what is required is more about cooperation and collaboration. It is time
to integrate the discipline and hard work you've been doing (in those uphill
battles) with patience, tact and social skills. This can help you get the
support and backing you need from others for your chosen direction without
feel you have to divorce yourself from the rest of the world (or the
Universe) to do it. Aim for balance and a win-win solution.

CAPRICORN
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 9th House of spirituality,
beliefs, truth-seeking, justice, philosophy, knowledge, teaching/learning,
publishing, long-distance travel, foreign lands and languages, and
multiculturalism.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include your pursuit of principles,
ethics and ideology (and perhaps theology), in addition to the quest to
expand your horizonsliterally or metaphorically.
In the coming transition, your focus starts by examining
the moral values and specific attitudes that guide your ambitions and your
quest for understanding. Your quest for truth and meaning may be something
you can get through interaction with others, or perhaps by acknowledging and
embracing the more intangible blessings and resources that you have at your
disposal.
This will shift into implications for your career and
ambitions, and especially how you assert and communicate authority and
expertise to others. You are challenged to find ways to take a stand that
are persuasive without being pushy, and congenial without being too
compromising. The work you have done toward empowering and grounding
yourself is perhaps being contradicted or challenged by an idealistic vision
of the way things "should" be. You may find that some of the struggle lies
in a conflict between your own higher principles and the philosophical
vision of others. Your transition involves finding ways to bridge the gap
with others to create a win-win outcome.

CAPRICORN
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 4th House of family, Father
(or Mother), childhood, home base, need for nurturing, security and
belonging, and the past.)
There is a burst of energy in your home life, your
personal needs, your impulses and/or your relationship to the past. More
specifically, you may feel the urge to break free from or confront past
patterns. In a way, this may be a time when you "leave home" whether you
are simply moving your residence, or are leaving behind parts of your
identity that you have outgrown.
If this energy were to go unchecked, it would lead to
impulsive rebellion, defiance and recklessness. And in fact, it might feel
like this at first to your usually cautious and paced Capricorn nature.
However, this is probably a much needed (and perhaps long overdue) movement
to break out of old habits that now interfere with your purposes.
Those purposes involve interaction with others who may
attempt to calm you down or encourage you to behave in a more balanced
fashion. This might play out in the form of feeling a child-like urge to
resist an authority figure. Or, you might gain the support of a colleague,
co-worker or mentor, but need to compromise your plans or vision somewhat,
to maintain that support. The idea is to find a more workable balance
between the subjective and objective aspects of your personal needs and
ambitions. Doing so will require you to reach beyond the purely practical to
include a more imaginative and inspired vision of what is possible. To do
that, you may need to mobilize your more independent impulses and risk being
a bit "politically incorrect."

AQUARIUS
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 8th House of power,
empowerment, control, intensity, deep psychology, death, rebirth,
transformation and sexuality.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include encounters with the
mysteries of life, especially examining how the balance of power with others
can shift and change depending on your assumptions, beliefs and greater
context that you frame it in.
In the coming transition, your focus starts out by
digging deep into the specifics of how power becomes a balancing act between
you and others. No one holds ALL the power, although sometimes you might
have to look very closely, as if with a psychological microscope, to find
the pivotal point of your power. This focus starts to shift into a quest to
find how to wield that power in ways that are ethical, just and fair. How do
you assert yourself in ways that neither compromise your integrity nor place
your priorities above others?
To answer this question, you may need to wrestle with a
conflict between your dream of who you are as a sacred or special human
being versus your vision of what you are capable of becoming and achieving.
These may seem to be incompatible right now, especially as you are
challenged to become more grounded and committed in your close one-to-one
relationships. It may help to find opportunities to speak your highest truth
in soothing ways that might even seem superficial but contain the essence of
something greater.

AQUARIUS
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 3rd House of intellect,
communication, ideas, perceptions, learning, neighbours, commerce,
short-distance travel, and information exchange.)
You are embarking on a journey of learning, and you
might feel a bit like a kid on your first day at school. This might involve
literally taking a course in some subject, or it might mean you are taking
in new experiences which you must make sense of. Either way, you will likely
need to mobilize your innate intuition and spontaneous "knowing" and to
let your sense of adventure guide you!
You are on a precipice that requires you to start fresh
with a clean slate. Your past knowledge and experience will only take you so
far, and right now it is to your advantage to walk into new experiences
without preconceptions. However, that doesn't mean your knowledge and
experience are unimportant far from it. In fact it is important to strike
a balance between your personal experience and your worldly knowledge;
between the raw information you gather and the greater meaning it implies.
That balance also extends to relationships, both with
Significant Others (partner, spouse, family, etc.) and with others who take
a more community-based role in your life (mentor, colleague, spiritual
advisor, etc.). It may be time to integrate your own understanding and
wisdom with that of others, although ensuring that your own creativity and
autonomy are not suppressed. It may be necessary to compromise your ideas a
little, but your essential vision can remain intact.

PISCES
SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in VIRGO
September 22 to October 22, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 7th House of love, balance,
harmony, close relationships, marriage, partnership, inter-connectedness
with others, style of interaction, lovers and adversaries.)
This is the beginning of a long-term transition that
will unfold over the coming year, starting with the next 4 weeks. The areas
most likely affected by this transition include close relationships, your
style of interaction, what you want from that interaction and what you bring
to relationships.
In the coming transition, your focus starts by examining
the nature of your relationships and interactions, especially to determine
if these areas reflect your knowledge or if your perspective might need to
be refined. This starts to shift toward creating a new balance of power with
others, since it is not enough to figure out the "formula" for how to
interact with others. It's just as important to ensure that you can stand up
for your priorities and can give a voice to all the different parts of you.
To do this, it may help to draw on a sense of morality
and optimism about life. However, this might conflict to some extent with a
quiet inner voice that believes more in sacred solitude and humble service,
than overt demonstrations of idealism or practicality. Remember that while
you are discovering how to balance all these different perspectives, you are
also more than your belief system, ambitions and power struggles. Don't
forget to have faith in the part of you that lies beyond what you can see in
yourself.

PISCES
FULL MOON in ARIES
October 6, 2006
(Takes place in your solar 2nd House of finances,
income, expenses, possessions, resources, self-worth, and material security
and values.)
This is a time to gather together new assets, skills,
self-reliance and courage all resources for the coming journey. This
involves re-assessing your personal values, especially how much and in what
ways you value yourself. What may be pulling you in a different direction
from this is a wish to cooperate with others in order to share and balance
the power with them.
What power? Every interaction contains power
implications and dynamics who gets to have the last word, whose opinions
win in the event of a stalemate, how assets and resources are divided up.
These issues are often decided on an unconscious or unspoken level, and are
played out in the way you and others interact. Right now, those interactions
and power dynamics require a diplomatic and gentle touch, but which also
allows you to assert your interests and priorities. That's where your own
resources, courage and self-value come in. These qualities are required now
in order to maintain a healthy balance between yourself and others not
allowing one to dominate over the other, but to find a balance in which a
win-win situation can emerge.
This may involve breaking out of old patterns and
reaching for a new vision of what is fair, just and wise. You have been
working toward this all year, and the time is approaching when you will need
to take what you've learned and commit to a direction that resolves the
struggle of realism versus idealism. That solution is not likely to be
perfect, but that's okay it only needs to make sense to you in a way you
can live with. In order to find the best solution for you, it is important
to be willing and able to assert your personal worth AND work cooperatively
with others. This is not about caving into your ego. It is about ensuring
that you are included in your own life.
