Encounter World Religions Centre

This is an organisation that offers lectures, courses and intensive workshops to introduce people to various religions. Operating primarily in richly multicultural and spiritually diverse Toronto, Canada (and recently expanding into other southern Ontario cities), participants can learn about and experience a vast array of different religions. Definitely worth checking out even if you're not in Canada!

National Geographic's website area that explores how The Lord of the Rings reflects real human mythology, language, culture and history.

This is an impressive, extensive and growing site on Greek mythology. It gives information about Greek myths, Gods, Goddesses, beasts, heroes, etc. Includes quotes from a broad range of reference and source material, along with ancient artwork images. Excellent site!
